Community Health Innovations of RI (CHI-RI)
Community Health Innovations of Rhode Island (CHI-RI) is a start up organization that puts in action the research and work of the Transcultural Community Health Initiative. “Transcultural” is a way of imagining change in a transformational way and understanding that culture is dynamic and in flux, as opposed to the static notions we are often presented.
CHI seeks to enhance health, increase resources for community-based health initiatives, and advocate for change to promote the social well-being and health of Rhode Island by working with the leadership of community, community health workers and building the capacity of underrepresented diverse communities. |
