Middle School Drama Assistant
The role of an assistant to the Director is to help create a positive experience, where the students will learn the fundamentals skills of acting, teamwork and responsibility.
K-8 After School Enrichment Teacher
The After School Club Enrichment Teacher will work closely with students grades K-8 to strengthen academic achievement and support their overall social development through project-based learning.

- Main duties:
- Provide a safe and fun learning environment for the students
- Take daily attendance
- Tracking daily progress against the script and keep cast on schedule
- Maintaining order among the students
- Running lines with the students
- Provide opportunities for all youth to work cooperatively with each other toward shared goals
- Provide opportunities for leadership within the cast
- Be on time to all schedules practices and games
- Be responsible for the children until they are turned over to a parent or guardian
- Report any problems with space, actor or parent behavior to Site Coordinator
- Approximate # of Hours/Week: 6-10
- Required days/times of the week (if any): Mondays & Wednesdays
- Semesters this position is available for: Entire Academic Year (September 2018- May 2019)
K-8 After School Enrichment Teacher
The After School Club Enrichment Teacher will work closely with students grades K-8 to strengthen academic achievement and support their overall social development through project-based learning.
- Main duties:
- Assure safety and supervision of children at all times
- Lead educational and enrichment activities through project-based learning
- Develop 6-week calendars reflecting lesson plans and curriculum for club sessions
- Motivate students to succeed by leading and teaching students through varied learning environments
- Build strong relationships with students serving as a positive role model and encourage the joy of learning
- Assist with homework help
- Promote and help to develop youth leadership
- Implement appropriate behavior and classroom management practices
- Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by DCYF
- Assist with family events related to the After School Club
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Approximate # of Hours/Week: 15
- Required days/times of the week (if any): Monday- Friday, 2:30-5:30pm
- Semesters this position is available for: Entire Academic Year (September 2018- May 2019)
