The Empowerment Factory is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving children and families the skills they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Our creative squad programming focuses on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. Our project based approach encourages a balanced combination of individual thinking, peer interaction and teamwork.

Marketing and Communication Intern
Implement new marketing strategies to help find partners and sponsors to support The Empowerment Factory. The student will manage communication with volunteers, sponsors, and members.
Administrative Assistant
Provide office assistance to the director.
Teacher Assistant
The teacher assistant will work closely with the students enrolled in the creative squad programs to strengthen their academic achievement and creativity.
Development Intern
The development intern will focus on researching funding sources to strengthen the program outreach opportunities.

Administrative Assistant
Provide office assistance to the director.
- Main Duties: manage emails and correspondence, assist with grant reports, organize files
- Approximate # of hours/weeks: 6-8 hours/week
- Required days/times of the week: Flexible
- Semesters this position is available for: Entire Academic Year (September 2018-May 2019)
Teacher Assistant
The teacher assistant will work closely with the students enrolled in the creative squad programs to strengthen their academic achievement and creativity.
- Main Duties: assist teachers in programs for elementary students, assist with homework helpers program
- Approximate # of hours/week: 6-8 hours/week
- Required days/time of the week: Flexible
- Semesters this position is available for: Entire Academic Year (September 2018-May 2019)
Development Intern
The development intern will focus on researching funding sources to strengthen the program outreach opportunities.
- Main Duties: research strategic partners and sponsors to support The Empowerment Factory, research grant opportunities, help with grant proposals
- Approximate # of hours/week: 6-8
- Required days/times of the week: Flexible
