Society of st. vincent de paul
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an independent, lay, Catholic organization, and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. With 434 active members and 332 associate members, we bring hope while providing assistance with such basic human needs as food, clothing, rent, medical, and utilities. We work to empower those in need and work toward ending poverty. In 2013 we helped 120,691 Rhode Island families, provided $892,000 cash disbursements, and served 136,250 volunteer hours.
