The Smith Hill Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Smith Hill and its neighboring communities. This is achieved through the development and management of quality housing, with a focus on meeting the "affordability" needs of our residents. Success in improving our communities, inclusive of the development of quality affordable homes, is achieved along with our ongoing and expanding social, educational and recreational programming and services, developed and implemented by the organization in concert with, and supported by, our many community partners.

Office Assistant
Provide assistance to Executive Director and Office staff while obtaining information and increasing knowledge on the process of affordable housing and community development to provide to residents who visit the office.
Provide assistance to Executive Director and Office staff while obtaining information and increasing knowledge on the process of affordable housing and community development to provide to residents who visit the office.
- Main duties: Assist Executive Director in document preparation. Greet public and direct to appropriate staff member. Filing and scanning of office documents.
- Secondary duties: Assist Office Staff on community planning events, research housing data as needed. Perform work related tasks as requested.
- Approximate # of Hours/Week: 20-25
- Required days/times of the week (if any): Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Semesters this position is available for: Entire Academic Year (September 2018- May 2019)
